Er möchte mehr sein als die Nummer 5. Und er träumt von bunten Farben, von einer Welt, die nicht nur aus Weiß, Schwarz und Grau besteht.
Das bringt ihm neben Ärger in der Schule auch Unverständnis seiner Eltern ein. Als dann sein Vater in der Zeitung eine Anzeige entdeckt, in der ein 1A-Pinguin-Job angeboten wird, steht Pauls Entschluss fest: Er nimmt den nächsten Albatros nach Hawaii.
