Ein Schaf als Haustier? Das wäre schön!, denken sich Lola und Joppe, als sie auf der Wiese am Stadtrand ein freundliches Schaf kennenlernen. Sie laden es zu sich ein, und weil es ein Schaf allein nun mal nicht gibt, kommt gleich die ganze Herde mit. Als die Schafe schließlich in der Wohnung im dritten Stock stehen, sind Lolas und Joppes Eltern wenig begeistert. Was sollen die Schafe fressen? Wo sollen sie schlafen? Und was werden wohl die Nachbarn sagen, die schon vor der Tür stehen und mit der Hausordnung wedeln? Doch schnell zeigt sich, dass die Schafe eher Probleme lösen als neue zu schaffen. Und so dürfen sie bleiben...
