Publisher's Summary

As the American consciousness shifted rapidly from aware, to concerned, to worried...Simple routines like buying gas or going to the grocery store place people at risk of exposure to the deadly contagion.

Welcome to the next global war.

From the imaginative mind of international best-selling author, Bobby Akart, comes a series ripped from today's headlines. Meet the Virus Hunters, the disease detectives on the front line of a never-ending battle to save humanity from viruses one-billionth our size.

Mr. Akart has delivered up-all-night thrillers in his 40-plus novels. His new Virus Hunters novels will give you pause and remind you that we're in a global war for survival against an unseen foe.

The nation is beyond containment at this point. Government's efforts were focused on slowing the spread within communities and across the nation. The health care system was overwhelmed and the economy was at risk of collapse.

Yet, the Virus Hunters soldiered on. With an unlikely ally, they find a new sense of purpose in a race against time, and the Grim Reaper.

Special dedication:

Finally, this series is dedicated to the Virus Hunters - the disease detectives, shoe-leather epidemiologists of the CDC's Epidemic Intelligence Service who work tirelessly to keep these deadly infectious diseases from killing us all. Thank you!

Bad way to end the series.

This series could have been wrapped in two books versus three. I couldn't even finish the third book, because it felt like the author was just trying to hit a certain number of words and pages instead of providing substance. A little disappointed.

Not his best series

Although part three is the best of this trilogy, the Virus Hunters was not as engaging as all the previous books by Bobby Akart. Still one of my favorite authors and I revisit your prior books often.

Straight from the headlines!

We are living within this story today. I truly appreciate the emphasis on the emphasis in the book of a "novel" virus. I work in Healthcare with a susceptible population and am amazed at the evolution of Covid-19. Nothing yet is predictable and Akart shared this concept well with the audience. These books should be recommend reading for all to help wake the public about the vital importance and impact protective measure (PPE) can have in an outbreak. Thank you Bobby, for making this nightmare into an educational, thought provoking, and enjoyable read.

Bobby is the best writer!!!

His technical research is unparalleled. I have found myself "googling" some of the things I have heard (audible) in his books, only to find they are stunningly accurate. I have almost all of his books in my phone. you won't be disappointed at all, especially if you like details and accuracy. Thank you Bobby for hundreds of hours of entertainment when I travel

Every single time...

Every book or series by Bobby Akart that I read I think, there's no way he'll top this one. I'm wrong everytime. Every single one has been excellent. Virus Hunters is no different. You can't wait for the next chapter, and hate for it to end all at the same time. On to another series.....

Couldn’t Quit Listening

I was a bit hesitant to start Virus Hunters thinking it’s just another virus zombie story. I was wrong! Characters and story line and everything else are excellent. One of the best series Akart has written. Looking forward to more.

Loved

I loved all of the characters in this series. Another great book by Bobby Akart. I would recommend this book and the complete series and also all of Bobby’s books. I listened to this book on Audible.
