This series is very predictable. Each book starts with a paramedic incident which brings self righteous detective. Ella onto scene and then wobbles between murders and the tribulations of the paramedics.Each one ends on the implausible romance between the detective and a doctor. After her smug handling of his father - no man would want to go near her.
