Das Hörspiel beleuchtet das Leben von Vincent van Gogh - ein Leben in Leidenschaft. Vincent van Gogh wurden 1853 in den Niederlanden geboren. Er brach Internat und Mittelschule ab, lernte dann Verkäufer in einer Kunsthandlung seines Onkels. Da er jedoch aufgrund der Heuchelei nicht zum Verkäufer geeignet war, wandte er sich der Religion zu. Trotz abgebrochenem Theologiestudiums bekam er Anstellungen als Hilfsprediger. Schließlich wurde er Maler. Finanzielle Unterstützung erhielt er von seinem Bruder Theo. Da er nicht mit Geld umgehen konnte, war er völlig verarmt. Schließlich schoss er sich im 1890 in den Bauch und verstarb im Beisein seines Bruders. Musik: Karl Sczuka. Josef Pelz von Felinau (1895-1978) ein Schriftsteller, Schauspieler, Drehbuch- und Hörspielautor. Besonders bekannt ist sein Hörspiel "Titanic".
