I loved this story when I read it 1st, 2nd and 3rd time but one thing that always bugged me a bit when reading was Bernie’s seeming jump in confidence/cockiness. Brooke Daniels performance of Bernie smoothed all my irritated edges out and gave me a more multilayered version of Bernie than my own head provided. Matt Waltons Victor, Aaron and Calum was on point for me. Oscar seemed a bit too harsh vs how imagined him, and Hael seemed a bit too dopey - still I loved Matt’s performance.
I’ve only ever listened to stand-alone books prior to this series, and not that many either - too impatient for the story I always thought..I am now a convert! Thank you CM Stunich for sharing your awesome imagination and stories, and thank you Brooke Daniels and Matt Walton for adding even more to HAVOC

I wanted to finish all the books before leaving a review. Overall, it was okay. I really struggled with the idea a bunch of teenagers doing and getting away with what they appear to have done and gotten away with. The smut was fine, I actually really appreciated someone finally writing in a scene that involved period sex in one of the earlier books, but the one thing I actually started to really dislike was the female characters ridiculous 'bad girl' attitude. It felt so forced and unpalatable. Which is also why it.took me so long to finish this series.
