Publisher's Summary

The bodies are found in towns and cities around Puget Sound. The young women who are the victims had nothing in common - except the agony of their final moments. But somebody carefully chose them to stalk, capture, and torture...a depraved killer whose cunning is matched only by the depth of his bloodlust. But the dying has only just begun. And the next victim will be the most shocking of all....

Grisly

Trigger warning: extreme violence toward women. I’m not usually bothered by gore, but this was intense.

Very Dark

This book is not for sensitive people. Something about it must have been good or it wouldn't have been so disturbing.

Very Punchable Characters

I’m just going to copy/paste my review on Goodreads:

I’ve never wanted to punch a character in the face like I do Serenity Hutchins. I want to punch Josh Anderson in the mug almost as much but she still deserves it more.

That’s all I got after finishing this. Oye.

hard to follow

not a great story and then narrator often sounded like a computer generated voice.

Don’t waste your credit

I would have returned it, but audible wouldn’t let me. Don’t believe audible’s return guarantee.

Brutal

Gregg Olsen is crazy good, the details were definitely not sugar coated. You will need to have a strong stomach and mentally ready to accept true evil if you read this book, it can be confusing because it switches fast but all ties together. Sit back and enjoy a very well written book about pure evil😉

Too much

Too much, too detailed, too horrible. Well written, but I didn’t need to put this in my head. I am sorry I did.

Good Story, Narration is pretty bad...

The narrator was robotic to the point of seemingly computer generated. I like the author and the story but honestly, Mr. Snow was stunningly wooden. To have a male performer with a female lead character is an odd choice. Add falsetto to the robotics. Awful.

Just plain ugly. The violence too descriptive and gruesome! I was very disappointed in this book
