Publisher's Summary

Drugged and kidnapped by Vampires, presumed dead by his clan, powerful VampLycan Veso must rely on a creature he dislikes almost as much as the suckheads who nabbed him if he hopes to escape - a human. But when Glenda proves more resourceful than most of her kind, he agrees to see her safely through the Alaskan wilderness. He'll have to fight an overwhelming attraction to the inquisitive beauty every excruciating step of the way.

Glen doesn't know which is worse: learning she's the distant relative of a Vampire who fancies himself a king (um...what?!), or the fact that said relative is trying to force her to birth his queen by mating her with a half Vampire, half Lycan. Veso is scary, has claws, but he's also key to her survival. She just wishes that she didn't notice all his muscles or the way her body responds to his. He has promised to keep her alive but she might lose her heart in the bargain.

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

I have to say so far this is my favorite couple! They banter and argue so much it's fun and when they make up...well that is fun too! It's good to see them venturing away from the previous alpha's beliefs! I know I sound like a broken record but this series is like a yummy snack! Nothing to heavy but lots of fun!

Love the narration of course!

Holy Hotness

This story takes up where Veso went missing in the last Book Lorn. Turns out he was kidnapped by Vamps. Veso is saved by a woman and then they are on the run. This woman also turns out to be his mate. This was a hot and steamy romance as only Laurann Dohner can do. This is well worth the credit!

Love it!!!!

Another awesome story from Miss Dohner!!!
And Savannah Richards always brings the VLG Stories to life!!!
Veso was so sexy!!! The story line is packed with lots of action, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I would like to see his father find love and to be happy the man has gone through a lot. I would also like to know when they get pregnant hopefully in follow up stories.
This was another favorite book from one of my favorite authors! 😃

Read thru chapter 5 and I'm ready to give up! Second review

Glen is such an a-hole. She complains constantly. Always giving Veso problems. I want to finish but I don't know if i can. This got good reviews, but I don't see how. The only good thing besides Veso is the narrator. S. R. Is very good.

Second review....
Glen complained thru to chapter 9. I did finish and Glen did get a little more likeable, but not much. She still questioned everything Veso did,I really liked his character. The story was good and due to that plus Veso I upped the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Best one yet out of the VLG series...

love this book...I am fast becom8ng a LD fan for sure. This book really makes you fall in love with the hero and heroine. sje is not wjiny or bitchy like the last two...especially the last book...I just wanted to punch both sisters in the face ...the first one was so mellodramatic and the second was so full of her bitchy self...this heroine was brave and her humor was spot on...I actually think she could have been funnier. I also like that a lot went down before she hopped in bed with Veso. I have listened to the Zorn series and am now on this one. I like them both but this series is way more interesting. Really loving it.

Repetitive

Veso has a problem with humans. Most of his information is from tv shows. Glen proves to be better than his opinion. The story makes Glen seem dense because things said have to be repeated. She does physically and emotionally better than Veso believed she could.

A somewhat unhappy mating.

I didn't enjoy this book much, since the h never seemed certain of her decision to mate Veso.

The h called Veso a bully just a short while before they mated and I understand why. Veso is the kind of mate who isn't in tune to his mate's needs and physical discomfort - she just needs to adapt to his pace, his life and his rules. This was very close to a loveless mating IMO.

I really wished Veso would soften and grow loving and considerate towards the h before the end of the book, but that didn't happen.

They probably will have a HEA, but they were far from it by the end of the book.

Another great story to series!

Short but good. Veso is an alpha through and through. I did think Glenda's character a little too submissive. But story and narrator are great.

5 Veso Stars

I forgot how much I liked this series!

Veso kicks off where Lorn finished and even though it's been a little while I wasn’t confused at all.

I love the humor and lightheartedness of this book.
Veso sure doesn’t make it easy on Glenda. But it’s the banter that really had me hooked.

Both were kidnapped for the master vampires gain. He wants a queen and since Glenda was a part of his bloodline he thought she could make him the perfect queen.

Yeah, Vamps in this book are nutty as a box of rocks just saying.

Veso is a VampLyca and even though the master thinks his race is inferior he didn’t want a weak queen.
Told you not all there.

Anywho this book really does have it all from humor, action, and love. Who doesn’t love a good love story? :)

I loved the narration then again I am a huge fan of Savannah Richards.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I prefer the New Species series by this author, but this was still a fun bit of escapism.

Brilliant series!!

Listened to this back in May & only now writing a review after I finished book 6 in the series. I love this genre so this book was an easy choice to purchase. Great story, has some real funny moments and Savannah really brings the story to life. Couldn't wait to read the next book. I love how the stories reference past & future title characters & each book has a healthy dose of smut too

Storyline continues with links from previous characters.
