After everyone else has given up hope, Josiah stubbornly searches for his brother, Tristan. A storm damages the ship in an area most sailors won’t venture if they’re smart. While the ship is being repaired, Josiah searches the mysterious land and finally finds his brother. He also discovers the magnificent tigeran, Marak, to whom he is hopelessly attracted.
However, the reunion isn’t so joyous or simple when the sailors figure out the tigerans might be more valuable than the brothers’ safe return.
