This is more a love story that happens to have vampires in it,. If you want a real vampire story this isn't it. Author uses the word bloody as a swear word far too much and it's repetitive at times. Helped me fall asleep though, read all 3 hoping they would get better sadly it didn't. If you are looking for a mushy love story then you have found one.
