I loved this story. I couldn't put it down. A Classic and heartfelt love story which is very exciting and romantic.

Loved it! Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. storyline builds up well. I liked how they got together early in the book and another twist took over the main storyline. Different to other romance books.

the heroine is so sweet she's almost syrup. way to perfect for my liking. then the whole time she was second guessing her feelings, it just bounced back and forth like a tennis match eating up chapters and hours.
I just couldn't relate, the perfection thing was pushed down my eardrums.
the storyline was good and the suspense angle was interesting but it was so long winded....I almost didn't finish it ....the hero was almost more perfect than the heroine. he did all the right things at the right time with the right people and so on and so on....(eyeroll) the author depicted this story and these characters just way to perfect for me.....I would have preferred more of the mystery in a shorter written book.
savannah peachwood was perfect for the heroine, her voice was sweet and had the underlying innocence that the author obviously intended to depict.
if you like a super sweet perfect, couple with a frustratingly slow mystery then this is for you.
the biggest disappointment is the cliffhanger...I don't think I can do syrupy book 2.

I mostly enjoyed this book but be aware it is only Part 1 of 3. It leaves you up in the air at the conclusion of the first book. Book 1 finishes with Book 2.

There is nothing worse than getting a book that ends on a cliffhanger. It feels like the worst kind of manipulation, giving you the choice of either buying the next book in the series or never knowing what happens. Can’t an author trust that the quality of their writing will be enough to tempt you to buy the next book? A cliffhanger feels like coercion.
