Ive listened to this book twice and I fell even harder the second time. it's so beautifully written. You feel all the feels, I cried and laughed and cried some more. Check trigger warnings but don't skip this book. It will forever be in my top 5. Lachlan Duke 😍

I loved the first half of this book, but I found the second part really disjointed.
Had some dark undertones, but in a way it was too soft to be dark romance..
I feel like there were major components of recovering from trauma that weren’t a part of the story either, which I feel would have added to the story and made it more believable.
I don’t know, i just didn’t find it epic, but I enjoyed the book non the less.

This was an emotional roller coaster in the best kind of way. There were twists and turns that made me smile and then cry. I didn’t like Lachlan at first but he he grows on you, then makes you super concerned and then you’re back in love with him. I wasn’t sure I would like this book, but i think it’s one of my new favourites!

In general it's an amazing story. I would recommend it one hundred percent. My only issue is the main male is supposed to be amazing but he's kind of a child for a bit of it, not trying to understand the main females reasons for what she did. Also the trigger warning says the SA may be off page which it's not really and at the end is a big part so be aware.

Loved this book. Could have possibly had a touch more spice for me. But Joe’s voice!! He could read me a shopping list and I would melt. Definitely dark but so good!

I liked the dual narration. Hockey player meets girl that has a lot of secrets. Romance and run, story spans overs several years.

Sizzling, nerve wracking and suspenseful- this is a highly engaging listen with great performances from the actors. Loved the idea that Lylah was a brown girl as well, Latino or black. This writer is amazing! Loved loved loved it

Really great audio book.
Wasn't much of a fan of the female narrator. Would have loved to have heard more of Joe Arden, he had very few chapters.
