At last, the full story behind Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman's epic romance, including stories, portraits, and the occasional puzzle. How did they do it? They came from completely different families, endured a significant age difference, and were separated by the gulf of several social strata. Megan loved books and art history; Nick loved hammers. But much more than these seemingly unsurpassable obstacles were the values they held in common: respect, decency, the ability to mention genitalia in almost any context, and an abiding obsession with the songs of Tom Waits.

Publisher's Summary
Anna Faris has advice for you.
Since October 2015, a whole lot of people have been getting relationship advice from a very well-intentioned but untrained source — actress Anna Faris — on her ridiculously popular podcast, Unqualified.
Anna's own personal life was messy, even while her career soared as the lead in the Scary Movie franchise, and as the star of the CBS comedy, Mom. She started Unqualified as something gone-a-goof, but the podcast is already getting 1.5 million downloads a month, and is consistently one of the most popular out there.
Now, working with collaborator Rachel Bertsche, she is telling all in her first book Unqualified. Unable to find an ex who would spill the beans, Chris has graciously agreed to write the introduction.

Conversational and Insightful
I was taken aback by the depth and quality of this audiobook. From Faris’ personal experience to her life evaluations, and the conversational way in which she reads (unlike some autobiographies which sound unnatural and scripted), this was an audiobook that let me into the author’s life - as if we were friends. Some quirky social observations left me feeling relieved that I’m not alone! Some laugh out loud moments, and many that tug at the heartstrings. Faris made me feel empathy - I felt like I was living in her shoes, feeling what she or others has felt. She is honest, wise and incredibly humble. I’ll definitely listen to this audiobook again. I just want to hug her to say thanks! 10/10

Meh..
I love Anna! But this book is kinda boring, there is no juicy details or anything about break up with Chris. It sounds like that they are the perfect couple. It’s funny like she is and you can tell she really is a good person. It’s started off strong, very interesting but then nothing. I do recommend it as a good read but not if you’re wanting the real insight and truth into her life as it is now. Disappointed she didn’t feel like she could be honest and address any of the issues that happened between her Chris for the marriage to fail. It’s sounds like they should still be together...

This is a special book
Listening to this book felt like a friend telling their life story. You care about her and her family. It’s genuine, funny, interesting and relatable. Anna Faris makes you feel as though she’s walked the same roads as anyone else and yet is able to identify that she has had a lucky life. She doesn’t wallow or brag which makes her story feel real and makes her real.

The most unenthusiastic reading of a book
I really liked the book but Anna Faris read it in such a dull way I think I would have been better to read the book myself. I always prefer books read by the author but there was no emotion at all. Great content though, really enjoyed her writing even if not her reading it!

Honest, relatable and thoroughly enjoyable
Anna is incredibly likeable and honest. I’m a big fan of her podcast already so I had high hopes for the book and it didn’t disappoint.
I really enjoyed getting an insight into her life and how she got to where she is. If you want a funny and heartwarming read then download this book!
PS, I don’t usually write reviews so that in itself shows how much I like the book and the author.

Interesting Insight
I really like Anna Faris podcast so when I heard about the book it seemed like an obvious choice to give it a listen. I really like the fact that it is narrated by Faris herself and it offered a pretty good look into her life. It was as funny as I was expecting and I found it really moving that Chris Pratt gave the foreword. It's a bit of a different flavour to the podcast and at times the structure seemed a bit all over the place.

Unqualified is a great listen if you are a fan of Anna and Sim’s podcast. It has all the humour and honesty Anna delivers in the weekly edition of her podcast but in a 6 plus hour format. It was funny and heartwarming, especially listening to stories about her family and the birth/first few months of her son Jack’s life. Enjoy!

What an amazing lady!
Where does Unqualified rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks really high. I wasn't really sure what to expect because I have never listened to her podcasts. This book is much more than an autobiography, it's like a seen help book about relationships with funny examples of what to not do. The overwhelming theme is just how compassionate this young woman is.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I chuckled my way through this book. It's gently funny and really intestine to listen to. I would actually like a second book.
Any additional comments?
This really is a worthy book to listen to. Anna, which I now have found she pronounces it is ahhýna, is lovely. She should be on our TV far more. Why hasn't she got her own show? There is so much more to her. Listen and judge for yourself!
