Finding undiscovered treasures is always daring, dangerous, and deadly. Perfect for the men and women of Treasure Hunter Security.

Former Navy SEAL and CIA agent Ronin Cooper is used to living his life in the darkness. A loner by nature, he enjoys his work at Treasure Hunter Security, stays busy on the road, and never lets anyone too close. That is, until he notices a mysterious redheaded woman spying on him and his colleagues. Then he finds himself sucked into a dangerous rescue mission to Antarctica with a fiery, outspoken woman who pushes every one of his buttons.

Peri Butler will do anything to save her sister. The experienced polar guide knows the deadly black-market antiquities ring, Silk Road, has her twin, but Peri isn't sure whom she can trust. She wants to believe that Treasure Hunter Security can help and soon finds herself facing off with the dark, intense, enigmatic Ronin.

As their mission takes them into the frigid ice and snow of Antarctica, Peri and Ronin's intense attraction generates a lot of heat. Drawn irresistibly closer, they work to track down Silk Road and Peri's sister, but what they find buried in the ice could threaten everything. Ronin will sacrifice it all to protect Peri while she will take every risk not only to save her sister but to break through the protective shell around Ronin's heart.

Love it

Love the story and love the narrator. Super fast listen. Stella Bloom does an awesome job on each of the characters voices so there was no confusing parts about who was talking.

Unmapped

If you love action and adventure, this is for you. If you love romance, this is for you. If you love Anna Hackett's Phoenix series, you just may be reading a story about their ancestors. The story line moves at a rapid pace with characters you can root for. This action packed series starter will keep you on the edge of your seat and the pages turning. I can't wait for the next book

A new Setting for the THS Series!!

Who doesn't love a bit of cold environment for a Romantic Action book? Its one of my favourite settings in a book. I've always been fascinated with the Arctic or Antarctica, so to read about it only adds to the hype, excitement, and the need for survival. Ronin and Peri delivers all of that, and more!! Stella Bloom has done another fantastic narration of the THS Series, and I'm so excited to hear the rest of the Series narrated by her!!

Another great book!

Peri and Ronin are a great combination, and Anna Hackett does an incredible job of keeping the reader, or in this case, the listener, entertained. Both characters had had tough upbringings and you can't help but feel for them. This is probably my favorite narration by Stella Bloom. sometimes I feel she slightly misses the mark, but this one was very good Kudos to both the author and narrator!

Book 6

Peri Butler is a Polar guide/ business owner whose twin sister Amber is missing after getting involved in an expedition with ties to Silk Road. She seeks out THS since they have been linked with Silk Road in recent stories, but is trying to figure if they are the good or bad guys when Ronin discovers her sneaking around and brings her in. Before going completely silent, her twin manages to send off a communication that leads Peri, Ronin, and crew to find some hidden information that might help on the journey. To Antarctica. To a huge pyramid in the ice. To something the Silk Road leaders want desperately to possess. As the trip gets more dangerous, the THS team and Peri fight to stay alive while trying to find Peri's sister, plug the leaks in their midst, and stop Silk Road from getting what they are after. I love how the research is always there, so embedded and seamless that it could easily be overlooked. This is book 6, and if you haven't read 1-5, you are missing out on loads of interwoven story development even though this story could stand on its own.

Adventure and discovery!

Unmapped by Anna Hackett Unmapped is a recent entry into Anna Hackett's Treasure Hunter Security world. Once again, there is a quest to an exotic locale--this time they head to Antarctica. Silk Road is there hunting for a weapon, and they have taken along a guide, who happens to be the female protagonist's sister. Knowing how Silk Road has operated in the past, this means that if the THS folks don't get there in time, Peri's sister may not be alive to be found. Thus, Peri hires THS to rescue her sister. This means Peri and Ronin Cooper are the ones doing the hard work of finding her, and stopping Silk Road. This is a tense, tightly-paced adventure story. The world-building is excellent, as usual for this author, and the action ramps up throughout the story. There are always skirmishes in the THS world, which usually lead to an all-out battle, and this audiobook is no exception, so expect some adrenaline rushes! The recording quality in this audiobook is excellent, and there weren’t any extraneous noises that were evident in the recording. I've 'traveled the world' via Ms. Hackett's Treasure Hunter series, and each time I finish a book, I want to visit the places depicted in the story. Each story transports me to a fabulous locale. I love this series and can't wait to see where the THS folks go next!

A reasonable storyline

It was an OK book and not my favourite from the author. The narration was good.
