The narrators have a great performance, the male voice was exquisite.
I liked the story, but I can’t put my finger on what was off-putting for me, I think it was all the God/sin talk, which is way out of my world and not interesting to me.Perhaps the next one in the series will be different…

This book is well written and very well performed by the narrators. It follows a woman who is still a virgin and was raised very religious. There are a lot of scenes in the religious kink side of things. Would highly recommend

Sorry but the female narrator’s pronunciation was terrible. Obviously not a Brit. It was very distracting and made this a hard listen. I’m sure some people wouldn’t really notice but if you’re familiar with British accents, it’s very off putting.
The story was ok, ironically felt quite preachy in places about the religious strictures.

Didn’t like how it ended. Too many unanswered questions. Wth happened with her parents? & No Epilogue was beyond frustrating. Also had to have the narrators at 1.5x the entire time because they sounded lobotomised otherwise and so nasally!

A couple of LOL moments and ok spice.
I found the MMC to be a complete predator and master manipulator

Accents were good and genuine although female narrator was nasally for the male parts. Story was just ok… got a bit repetitive and predictable towards the end

I’m not a huge fan of duel style (much prefer duet), but this one irked me more than normal. I’m sure the female narrator isn’t using anything close to her natural accent (is she American IRL?) because there were frequent odd pronunciations which took you out of the story. Also, there were quite a few icks in the writing for me (FMC calling her parents ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’, and one use of ‘babymaker’ to describe the MMC’s… er… sizeable asset).

All that being said, I loved the world of Alchemy and the spicy scenes were HOT! I’ll probably give the next book in the series a go which some fresh chatacter POVs. But next time on Kindle.

For me, the beginning of this book was all about the religious aspect, and I struggled with that. Once it moved on, I really settled in and enjoyed this book.

Rafe was just the ultimate, and the blossoming of Belle was enlightening. The way Elodie Hart approached the topics in this story was amazing.

Rafe and Belle were the perfect fit.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The narration was on point and well done.
