Wenn es erst einmal wach ist, hält es die Welt in Atem: Das Pubertier. Und inzwischen hat sich Nick zu einem Parade-Exemplar entwickelt. Als männliches Pubertier besticht auch er durch faszinierende Einlassungen zu den Themen Mädchen, Umwelt und Politik sowie durch seine anhaltende Begeisterungsfähigkeit für ganz schlechtes Essen und seltsame Musik. Er wächst wie Chinagras und trägt T-Shirts und Frisuren, die uns dringend etwas sagen wollen.
Ansonsten allerdings ist die Kommunikation mit dem Pubertier auf ein Mindestmaß reduziert, es spricht wenig, dafür müffelt und chillt es ausgiebig. Und die Liebe spielt in diesem dritten Teil der Pubertier-Saga eine immer größer werdende Rolle - wie auch die Wahl der richtigen Schuhmode. Im Pubertierlabor wird über einen möglichen Zusammenhang beider Phänomene Mutmaßungen angestellt. Gemutmaßt werden darf außerdem über die Frage, wann diese verfluchte Pubertät eigentlich aufhört. Der Erzähler schaut manchmal in den Spiegel und denkt: eigentlich nie.

Keine Pause für die Lachmuskeln
So war ich bestimmt nie! Das denken bestimmt einige, die dem nun mehr dritten Hörbuch von Jan Weiler lauschen. Der (echt coole) Vater erzählt mal wieder aus dem Leben seiner Pubertiere. Während die Tochter Carla mit Freund, Smartphone und Führerschein beschäftigt ist und kurz davor steht, den Whatsapp-Nachrichten-Rekord zu brechen, lässt sich Sohnemann Nick nur selten blicken: Das Bett ist sein bevorzugter Aufenthaltsort. Wenn er aber doch mal auftaucht, heißt das in der Regel nicht Gutes: "Keine Ahnung, wie die nackten Frauen auf mein Handy und woher die hohe Rechnung kommen. Muss eine spontane Handy-zu-Handy-Übertragung sein..."
