Publisher's Summary

Princess Corla was supposed to be my soul mate. But we were star crossed. Two ships passing in the dark. Meant to be together, but never able to be together.

At least that’s what I thought. But it turns out my life is a lie, evil forces are out to get us, Harem Station is spinning chaos, and the soul mate bond won’t protect us.

Sounds pretty bad, right?

But here’s the best part. I can change it. I can change all of it. If I can just find a way to get myself uncrossed.

Uncrossed is the last book in the Harem Station series. It features a man chasing his star-crossed soul mate through time, a bazillion enemies at the gate, an entire station in chaos, and an explosive ending that proves, once and for all, that love wins in the end.

Includes a special note from the author.

Uncrossed

This is the concluding book to the Harem station series. You need to have read/listened to the previous books for this one to make sense. It doesn’t follow the pattern of the other books, but give it a chance, everything makes sense near the end. In the previous books we see each of the brothers find their “fated soul mate” (except Jimmy, but he finds his “true love”). In Crux’s case his “fated mate” remains in the cryo-pod while Crux figures everything out. Events from previous books are brought together bringing sub-plots galore. Everyone has their own agendas .... It was an interesting end to the series and brings a lot of things together. Crux’s journey is interesting when you find out what’s going on, but then makes you question the ending.

I had to force myself to finish it

I’m so disappointed, the series started out really good for the most part, didn’t care for the Mighty Minion theme Park in bk 2 but still gave it a 4. The first half of this book was like she cut all her paragraphs she’d written apart, threw them in the air & put them back together in the order they fell. It made that much sense. Way too much time spent on the stupid spin node, I hate time travel books, yet I appreciate that she likes to make things believable and give her characters depth, I want that in my books too. But she forgot she was writing a romance not a book about physics. The 2nd half was somewhat better but still confused us on another Alcor, was the twins really his kids, and what was the deal with Corla. This was a horrible ending to a book let alone a series.

It was an ending, not the one I would chose.

I had a really hard time connecting with Crux, and the ending left a lot to be desired. I really enjoyed the series.

Brilliant story!

I really had no idea how this was going to end. This series gave me all the feels. How I would love to be multiple bee bots on their walls to watch their futures grow. Crux's character reminded me of how I see myself, not special like all the friends around him. It seems like everyone else has it better, has that something special to give me validation. He had it all along, he just didn't look deep enough and have the confidence. I loved this series and I loved the cast of narrators chosen for these awesome characters.

Uncrossed (bws)

Book did not disappoint however this needed to be a book and 1/2 . There were too many loose ends that had to be resolved in this book. Kc introduced new characters and concepts, like Tisha and Alara. Now Alcore is a headmaster of the Harem school?????? and Crux’s father, huh? So now they have a redo and Crux is 26 and Draden and Sirpent(so?) are what 12? I s the little girl being held by Alara Crux’s daughter? The many, many loose ends are not adequately tied up in my opinion and many story lines need more amplification. I hope another book or two are coming!!!!!!

OMG!

I’m definitely going to go through separation anxiety now that this series is over. I love all these characters. All I can say is, Wow! Julie’s mind is a wonderful place. Keep up the great work.

Strange but awesome storyline

While I was waiting for the last book to come out I went back and listened to the first 5 books a couple of times to fit the pieces together. And I’m not usually a fan of this kind of storyline but I really loved this series. The author really makes you think and concentrate on the story.

Like whoa!

I’m having a hard time putting how I feel about this book into words, but I’ll try.

I feel like this book was a lot different from the previous ones. Not in a bad way. More like I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, having read all the previous ones, but no. It’s science heavy, similar to Prison Princess, but more so. Which is so Julie (being a scientist herself)! But that is not to say that it took away from the story because I feel quite the opposite. The complex science lent to Crux’s confusion for a large portion of this book, as well as his big revelation at the end. And all of it just made the mystery that Julie spun even more twisty and entertaining. I enjoyed this series very much. It was funny, steamy and kept you on your toes like all of Julie’s books usually do. If you like a big dose of romance with your science fiction, definitely give this series a read.

Also, Shane East has a super sexy accent and makes any audiobook 10 times more enjoyable. Big fan of his! C.J. Mission also had a great performance. :)

4.5 Overall

KC Cross aka JA Huss is one of my top five authors! I usually stay away from Sci-fi but was willing to follow her into this series. It was hilarious in spots, heartwarming in others. It's been a crazy ride.

This book was the most complicated of them all. I had to read it when I'd be least distracted. There were so many ends that needed tied. The twist in this was huge for me. I. DID. NOT. SEE. IT. COMING! I only wish we had more of Crux and his love together.

This was such a fun, great read. And the audio is incredible. The two narrators are male. Both men, Shane East and CJ Mission, are excellent narrators. The book rolled like a movie in my head.

I love JA Huss's End Of Book Sh*t (EOBS)! Hearing her take on the book is, how it came about, the why...it's so fun!

I will be going back and reading/listening to these books straight through. So worth it!

*I read this book through the Kindle Unlimited program and bought the audiobook!

Brilliant!

Uncrossed (Harem Station #6) is the cleverly written conclusion to this wonderful and oftentimes thought provoking Sci-Fi series by JA Huss writing as KC Cross. It’s mind blowing, funny, sexy, and action packed with fantastic characters who are brought to life brilliantly by the amazing narrators. I highly recommend it!
