La seconda linea è pure comune a molta narrativa di quegli anni, ed è il racconto picaresco del dopoguerra, storie colorate di personaggi e appetiti elementari. Nella terza domina il paesaggio della Riviera, con ragazzi o adolescenti e animali, come personale sviluppo d'una 'letteratura della memoria'.
