Three lost souls

Growing up in the eclectic, small town of Bliss was wonderful for Callie Sheppard. She loved everything about it, except for the lack of potential romantic partners. She only went wild once in her life, sharing a perfect weekend in Dallas with two incredible men she never thought she would see again. When they parted, she was left with a hole in her heart she feared would never be filled.

One romantic weekend

DEA agents Nathan Wright and Zane Hollister were thrilled when Callie agreed to spend the weekend with them. Just days away from a long, undercover assignment, they considered this passionate affair to be an ideal way to spend their last days of freedom. They never expected to fall in love. Leaving her behind was the hardest decision of their lives.

An unexpected reunion

Six years later, Callie is preparing to break in a new sheriff after Rye Harper walked out on the job. Her heart skips a few beats when the man walking through the door is none other than Nate Wright. Nate and Zane have come to Bliss, but their time undercover has left them broken and scarred. The boys are determined to win back Callie’s heart. But when the criminals they took down come seeking revenge, Nate and Zane may have to save the strange little town of Bliss before they can reclaim the woman they love.

No my cup of tea

This story started out with the main characters having sex in BDSM club. The summary didn’t mentioned this so I chose it because I like lee samuels as a reader. After twenty minutes in, I couldn’t continue. The heroine sounded dumb and the female reader made her sound even dumber. If you want just sex, this one is for you!

"She's a virgin?"

Sophie Oak/ Lexi Blake's "Nights in Bliss, Colorado" series is like a humorous, eccentric, kinky soap opera. Set in Bliss, Colorado, a tiny town inhabited by dozens of delightfully charming, quirky, and entertaining characters who don't blink an eye at unconventional relationships, there is enough fodder to keep the saga going for years to come.

The series is a bit predictable, with each installment focusing on one budding non-traditional romance while dealing with a mystery or turmoil of some type. "Two to Love" starts with Callie Sheppard, a life-long resident of Bliss, spending a memorable weekend with DEA agents Nathan Wright and Zane Hollister. Six years later, Callie is surprised to see the new sheriff in Bliss is none other than Nate Wright. Nate and Zane have come to Bliss to heal after an undercover assignment left them physically and emotionally broken. The guys are bound and determined to pick up where they left off with Callie, but they have to conquer the villains from their past who are out for revenge before their dreams can come true.

I usually prefer hearing different voice actors portray each couple (or thriple, as the case may be), so I was initially dismayed to discover that Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang narrated the entire series, but I ended up enjoying the familiarity of their voices. Each book felt like a chance to catch up with old friends.

I discovered this series while reading Lexi Blake's "Masters & Mercenaries" and "Forgotten" series and have listened to most of the books two or three times. If you appreciate Lexi Blake's creativity and writing style, you will enjoy this series.

Skip this series if you don't see the entertainment value in tongue-in-cheek humor and quirky characters (like an alien hunter, nudists, artists, and Birkenstock wearing tree-huggers), or if you have issues with light BDSM or love outside of the traditional one man with one woman relationship.

❤🔥🔥

I loved the suspense and loved that I didn't know what to expect next. Narration was superb, I love Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang. It also doesn't hurt to have a broken alpha male as well as the a second alpha male that really doesn't know what he wants in life!

second in series. helps to read or listen to first. but a great story teller. funny, and provacative. the wet humor and the steamy scenes fur so well together, the narrator's do a fabulous job in making the story come to life.

Very exciting and so sexy

These three fell for each other quickly and then life and criminals got in the way. But love prevailed, and a bunch of really crafty townspeople came to the rescue. My only drawback to the narration was that Ms Bang kept sounding like she was calling the main character Kelly instead of Callie.

Truer relationship struggles.

Impressed with better realism. Threesomes have such bigger struggles and that was too easy to gloss over in the first book. This was better at expressing some of that. I don't know how easy a relationship with three people could be and I don't know any that do it, but I imagine three is much harder than two. Keeping one man happy so he doesn't stray was impossible for me. Of course the choice of man is the clincher. Now two men? How do you not feel overwhelmed, unworthy or always on guard? Obviously book boyfriends make the experience easy, because they are truthful to the reader as it is written. The real case must be so much more confusing and scary. I guess I want to see and feel that. I also want to know why these boys choose to double team instead of be in individual relationships. I can understand the twins, but others not so much. The next book is not Menage, but more BDSM for Steph's proclivities. I hope to see something emotionally and psychologically deeper from the next threesome. I enjoyed the performance and recommend this book.

Love the book

This book was great just like all of lexi’s creations. She knows how to keep ya interested and coming back for more. I’m just not a fan if the narrators. They are good, but I wish all her books had the same as her M&M books.

Excellent

Kitty Bang has long been my favourite female narrator and she has now been joined by Lee Samuels as my favourite male narrator.
