Robotic Read of Tired Stories
This book listens like a high school theme paper and not a good one. The narration is robotic and many names are mispronounced. Musical interludes are frequent and long. The stories themselves are old and commonly known. Waste of money.

Poorly written & read
If you're looking for a well written and well researched book of allegedly true paranormal stories you will need to look elsewhere. Additionally, the narrator's voice is too gravelly to enjoy and he has a tendency to mispronounce names and words. I can now understand why the audiobook was so cheap to buy.

My Thoughts On This Book
I found this book to be interesting. I have heard most of the stories in it but I still liked hearing them retold. The narrator does a good job of reading it. It's not as scary as it's said to be, though. That is, Unless you've not heard the stories. It's worth listening to.

Much more terrible than terrifying!
Poorly written with many inaccuracies. Mostly short blurbs that don’t really tell anything resembling a story. Total waste of money and time. Skip this one!

Enjoyable
It's an enjoyable listen. I liked the background music and narrator voice is perfect for this type of book. Though there are a view issues that are either the narrator or the authors mistake. Like when they referred to it as Lizzie Boredoms Bread and Breakfast. Most of the stories I have heard before, but they were presented in a way that wasn't long and drawn out. I always wish these types of books were longer. They put out so many, surely they could just stick them all in one big book.

Three for comedic factor
The stories are all right (not at all scary, but entertaining enough to fill a commute). The narrator is just over the top.
