SUBJECT: Hello

Dear Mr. Vega,

I felt it necessary to follow up on today’s meeting, since we weren’t able to speak candidly in front of your son.

I was shocked to discover that you are Ryder’s dad. Given that your ex-wife will be out of the country for a while and you are currently his primary caregiver, I’m sure you understand why we need to establish boundaries and etiquette. I think it would be best if we just pretend that we met in person for the first time today.

Your son is a very bright (flirtatious and talkative) student and since his education is a top priority for both of us, I hope I can count on you to respectfully refrain from grinning at me, using that sexy tone of voice, and undressing me with your annoyingly beautiful brown eyes if we should happen to interact with each other again in the future.

Thanks so much,
Miss Stiles

TO: Emilia Stiles

SUBJECT: Re: Well, hello again…

Dear Miss Stiles,

Great to hear from you. My son’s education is indeed a top priority. As such, I respectfully agree to refrain from doing all of the aforementioned things.

However, I can’t promise to stop thinking about that kiss at the bar this summer. I’ve been thinking about it for the past month. It’s interesting how humorless and uptight you are about my son’s totally awesome personality, given that I have personally witnessed just how flirtatious and talkative you yourself can be when mildly intoxicated.

You’re so welcome,
Alex

P.S. I volunteered to be a chaperone for your next field trip. See you then.

* Narrated by Zachary Webber and Mackenzie Cartwright, with special guest appearances by Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton.

** This audiobook is dual narration, with portions that are duet-style.

enjoyed this book

Thus is an easy listening book. Sweet story about a single dad meeting a women who made an impact on him and circumstances separated them.. However they meet again in less than idea time. Sometime we need to listen to a sweet story to take your mind off the ugliness in the world and in my opinion this is such a book.

Loved it!! 👌👌💥❤❤

This is absolutely one of my favorites. Audible awards should go to the author and the narrators. Zachary and MacKenzie were pure magic. Such a fantastic story and Alex's son Tyler was adorable!! Don't want to repeat what's already been said but I would give 10 stars to everyone. And Zachary/Jacob, I've been listening to you for years and you still rock it with all the sexy and steamy feels. And MacKenzie I love your narration too.. You and Zachary hit a home run with this one... Then we get my other two fav male narrators make short audible cameos from the first and 2nd books of the series. I thought those were good. . I'm so giddy now. Kayley, Kayley, Kayley, just keep doing and writing these fantastic stories. Thank you for this one. And this is one I would definitely listen to again and I don't do that often. Enjoy! Great series but really loved this one best of all.

So much fun, and amazingly well narrated

I'm relatively new to Kayley Loring's books, but I'm thoroughly enjoying her novels, and I scooped this up as soon as it was available in audio because the novel was amazingly fun to read. I have found that you can always, always, always, count on Kayley for a good old fashioned fun romcom that leaves you with a smile on your face. Troublemaker delivered exactly that! Alex and Emilia meet in a night club, and from the moment they meet, they just can't resist each other. But the lose track of each other somewhere along the way after a scorching kiss that they can't forget. So imagine their surprise when Alex finds out Emilia is his child's teacher. What do you desire more than forbidden fruit, right? This book is full, full, full of banter, romance, humor, emotions, and did I say humor? We get to hear their thoughts, their texts, their journals, and OMG it is a great ride. Not to mention the friendships. I love a book with not only well-developed relationships between the main characters, but also with the side characters since you get to know the leads so much more intimately that way. Even though there are characters from prior books in this one, it can be 100% standalone. It is so worth the read! From a narration perspective, Zachary Webber and Mackenzie Cartwright are AMAZING! They brought so much life and vibrancy to the characters, from the smallest child to the doting grandma. Zachary and Mackenzie hit all of the best notes, and they brought so much humor throughout the entire novel. They had great material to work with, and they really brought it to life.

I never got bored with this book, not even for a second and I quit a few books before finally finding this one. The narrators are both great Mackenzie Cartwright did a great job and Zachary Webber is Zachary Webber. 🤷‍♀️ Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 big fat stars!

LUST, LONGING, LAUGHS & LOVE.. the perfect Rom/Com

This book is the kind that instantly draws you in as a single night with only kisses and chemistry between strangers backfires and brings such delicious frustration, fireworks and feels. This storyline, of a single dad and his son’s forbidden teacher, is a delicious and fun-filled slow-burn of a second-chance for both of them. This war of seismic chemistry, animal attraction, fry your brain lust and deep respect vs. obligations is a delicious and humorous head vs. heart marathon that’s so entertaining and fun. This example of respect and loyalty between two people who long for each other yet commit to doing the right thing for the school, for each other, for themselves and for a sweet seven yr old boy they both love, is a delicious well-written lighthouse that towers and shines in the rom/com genre. This sweet tender instant attraction tale was always going to lead to more.. with stolen smooches, primal possessive passion and frenzied sex as the smouldering fire between them flares into a furnace that deliciously melts their self-imposed walls. This shining example of a teacher who cares, loves and respects, well she was always going to end up with the handsome Hollywood Director because she only saw the caring devoted dad - not the millionaire or his first place spot on The Most Eligible and their ride was truly delicious. And the choice of A list performers Mackenzie Cartwright and the delicious Zachary Webber were the perfect fit to bring the cast of characters to life. They made the dual POV thrills and thought, the patient promises, the temptation and teases, the frustrated longings, the tension- filled passionate explosions, the humor and the love truly memorable. WORTH A CREDIT? it’s a book you don’t want to leave, it’s a book you want to listen to all over again, it’s definitely a book to lick your lips in delicious anticipation of.. and YES, it’s a book worth spending a credit on.

Meh...

Zachary Webber as always great narration. It was a cute story just a little unrealistic at moments. I had higher hopes for this book but it fell short on the delivery a few times. Like when Nova talks to Amilia toward the end of the book. I like the whole dorky girl vibe in books but again this fell short. I don’t regret listening to it I just won’t listen to it again.

Awesome HEA and Zachary Webber

Zachary Webber made this story so great. His voice, the way he tells the story.. so great. Mackenzie Cartwright was new for me but she sounds like a 2nd grade teacher so well done.. the story doesn’t necessarily follow a typical pattern but that is what I like about it. O and again Zachary Webber. 🤤

What a lovely book!

This story ticks all the boxes for me. It puts a smile on your face and makes you laugh. It has lovely and kind characters, without too much drama. It also has the cutest and funniest little kid that just warms your heart. Narrators were superb as always. A big thumbs up for this!

Going to seriously miss these Guys!

Okay so I thought Sleeper was my fovorite but Alex and Emilia are a very close 2nd. Loring got super lucky getting all three of my favorite Male Narrators to read this series. Little Ryder would have to be my favorite little kid in these series, super cute. Loved the forbideen yet heart breaking push/pull between these too. Treat to see an extended HEA at the end. I"m sad this series seems to be over. Or is it? Must listen

A Masterclass in Romantic Comedy.

Firstly I have to say that the casting for this audiobook is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Mackenzie Cartwright and Zachary Webber are the perfect fit for Emilia and Alex and they both narrate the main and supporting characters exceptionally well and bring them all to life. The story itself is hilariously funny, witty and sweet but with some scorching hot scenes. The dialogue, t(s)exting, emails and flirty banter had me laughing and swooning throughout. This is some seriously good writing. Personally I'm very careful with what I spend my precious audible credits on and therefore I don't recommend books lightly but if you enjoy romantic comedy then this book really is worthy of your credit. Enjoy 😘

Single Dad!

Kayley Loring does it again! She pulls me into a funny, heartwarming feel good romance and fills my heart with love. This story for me was so much fun. Emilia is a second grade teacher who moves to LA to start her life over. When she meets Alejandro at a bar, seemingly hitting it off, she is excited! Until he unexpectedly just leaves. Now she finds out he is the father of one of her students. Can these two make it through the year without getting together? I loved every minute of Emilia and Alex. The foreplay is witty and romantic, with each email and text I fell just a little more. And Alex's son steals the show! The little manipulator knows exactly what they need to make their family whole. Every minute will leave you smiling, whether funny or loving. It's my favorite of all so far!(I think I say that every time, each book is so good!) Mackenzie Cartwright and Zachary Webber bring this gem to life. These performers just get it when it comes to figuring out their characters. Cartwright falls right into the insecure Emilia and we hear her change with each inflection of her voice. Webber brings the confident Alex alive with his slightly arrogant, flirty voice and then has the best child voice for Ryder! These two put on the show so we can experience it like we are there. Then the incredible epilogue with all our favorites coming in! Fantastic! Loved every minute!

🔥🔥🔥Hot & Steamy

Firstly, this is narrated by Zachary Webber who has the dreamiest voice ever! Is it weird that I totally love the way he says the F word? 🤔 It was a really sweet story of second chance love. There were some super stramy scenes in it and was just a fun read/listen. There were parts where I actually laughed out loud. I really liked the characters and the kids are so funny and cute.

One child, one teacher, one book, one pen

can change the world. ~Malala Yousafzai~ I knew I was going to absolutely love this book when it started with: Reasons why I'm glad we broke up for good this time. Then Emilia goes on to explain aggressive flossing and donkey balls. Well, be still my beating heart 💓 I feel in love, because anyone who uses donkey balls in a book has a special place in my heart. Emilia was such a boss babe, even though she perceived herself as a nerd it really was her dorky persona that was charming through the story. I loved the awkward sexting. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole exchange, Alex was a trooper though for trying to get the sexy back and redirecting Emilia. Then the absolute best part of the book was when Ryder set up a dating profile with Emilia for his Dad. I sincerely hope that Kayley really didn't know the urban dictionary meaning of blue waffles because eww for one and two I spit out my coffee, while almost dying from asphyxiation. Thank you for that Kayley 🤣😂. The narration was amazing all around. Also, Zachary speaking Spanish... um... I think my whole body went up in flames 🔥🔥🔥. Hot!!

Hilarious Romantic Comedy

Alex and Amilia are both very likable. Kayley Loring is a genius with hilarious inner dialog and text exchanges. This book had plenty. Amilia's drunk texts were super funny. I like the way the secondary characters are so naturally woven into the story and knowing their detailed backstories was nice but not necessary. The story had a little bit of everything, slow burn, forbidden, single dad. I really appreciated the way Amilia was a little nerdy and has some insecurities but she's not naive or virginal. There are couple things I did not really love about this story. First, the ex-wife. They allude to her being manic and a mess but did not really explore or resolve that. She was just all of the sudden fine and best mom ever. The other issue I had was the ending. The story was going along great, the couple had obstacles that seemed to be a big problem. Then, boom! issues resolved story over, the end. I felt the resolution was too easy and didn't really land for me. Narration was great. Zachary Webber's little kid voice is my favorite thing ever. MacKenzie Cartwright was perfect as Amilia. Overall, I recommend this book. Especially if you enjoyed the other books in this series.

This is the best!

This whole audiobook just made me happy and left me with a huge smile on my face. Single dad, meets teacher. Teacher who he's meet and had a moment with, and wants more. The banter and inner monologues throughout this book just made me laugh so much. Mackenzie Cartwright had the BEST one liners and delivered them with perfection. Zachary Webber, as always sounds simply delicious. His little kid voice though, will steal your heart. Everything about this listen just brightened my day and made me happy. This is a must listen - and a re-listen when you need a pick me up. Kayley Loring wrote the funniest banter - I can't go on enough about how much I loved listening to this and how much humor and love I felt in this book.
