About this listen

Two dude-bros, one beautiful femme boy, and a game of gay chicken that goes badly awry…

It's fair to say my best friend Mat and I are looking for trouble when we head out for a wild night on the town, and boy, do we find it. We find it in the form of Trouble, a guy with long, silky black hair, doe eyes, and thick, fleshy lips. Sweat glitters down his spine, and he moves like there's music in his soul. Every eye in the place is on him. He's magnetic. The second we see him, we want him. We both do.

Suddenly, the fact we thought we were straight doesn't seem all that important.

Trouble turns our lives upside down. He makes us do things we've never done. He makes us want things we've never wanted, either.

He makes me look at Mat in a way that's brand new, too.

Everything is changing. Nothing is as it was.

There's only one thing that's certain anymore—Mat and I both want to get into Trouble.

Triple Trouble is the second book in The Situationship series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. It's an MMM romance featuring a double bi awakening, a triple serving of steam, and enough sweetness to give you a sugar rush.

Liked that there was a separate narrater for each of the 3 lead male characters. Loved that one main lead was in theater as well as an accomplished pole dancer. Enjoyed theses differences.

God read

The smut was okay but I always think it’s such a shame when the “sound effects” are lacking. If the narrator is saying something like “I released a deep growl from deep in my chest…” then let me hear your growl! Don’t just continue reading. The narrator for Trouble was funny but his voice just didn’t do it for me which kinda ruined the overall experience. There’s not much of a plot at all and not a whole lot of character building. If you’re just after a quick listen with some smut this could be for you.

Okay but not amazing

Straight guys Mat and Will have been best friends forever and they have an enviable closeness. When Mat needs to cuddle, Will is always happy to comply. They’re slightly apprehensive about a social event at a gay club but nothing prepares them for the gorgeous, gender-fluid Trouble (aka Hendrix Teller). Mat is immediately smitten and their pretence at being a gay couple falls flat. But Trouble, always up for mischief, is willing to play along and the three guys have a wild night together which pushes way past Mat and Will’s sexual limits. Now Mat is pining; he can’t get trouble out of his head and Will stops at nothing to please Mat so the two are determined to track him down for more.

I loved every bit of this dual bisexual awakening / super steamy thruple romance! I absolutely adored Mat and Will’s honest and supportive relationship. Best of all, just when you’d expect them to freak out or have huge regrets, they talk through their feelings and accept their new feelings. There was a really nice contrast between how open Mat and Will were compared to Trouble, who continually found it hard to trust or share things with the guys. I loved watching Trouble thaw out, basking in their acceptance and love. This was a nice balance between heartwarming and slightly angsty: at each point where I thought things would go badly, I love how their mutual respect smoothed out the wrinkles. That’s two brilliant books in this series, cn’t wait for the third! 🎧 I REALLY appreciated the use of three voice actors, one for each of the guys, it made listening easy. Ellis Evan as Mat, Liam DiCosimo as Will and Michael Ferraiuolo were all incredibly good, they hit it out of the park!

Incredibly steamy & heartwarming thruple romance!

A great listen overall, and I stayed interested in the story from beginning to end.
Very enjoyable and easy to listen to, with characters and moments I really liked.
