The THIRDS series is inspired.

I am normally not a big fan of m/m romance however, when I stumbled across the first book, I had to keep reading until the last. I laughed when the characters laughed and cried when they cried. Through all the adversity and pain there was also determination to somehow transcend to be better. We should all hope to embody the loyalty, integrity, forgiveness, commitment, friendship, understanding, and love to one another in our personal relationships and as a society overall, as demonstrated by the characters in this series of books. Thank you Charlie and I can't wait for the TIN series to be born!

Yes I cried..

Tried and True is book 10 in the THIRDS series and you do need to read them in order.
Sloane and Dex are preparing for their wedding when tragedy strikes and they have to come together as a team once again to protect their loved ones and find the more in TIN.

There is so much going on in this book its hard to tell you without a spoiler.
I love Dex and more and more as he grows and his abilities become stronger as a hybrid Therian. He is strong, sexy, and funny. Sloane is his perfect match. They are sort of opposites, Sloane always trying to get Dex to eat healthier when he is happy with donuts and gummy bears.

Every character in this series is amazing. most of them had their own books with the later ones being focused on Dex, Sloane and the new Team.

There is so much action, drama, also some violence, suspense, and man-sex. There is plenty of humor to tap down the drama and violence.

I have to admit I laughed my self to tears a few times and the Wedding was amazing. When they danced to Time of my life the tears flowed...*glares at empty tissue box and words the end.*

I know this is the end of this series but I hope we haven't seen the end of these men.

I absolutely love Mark Westfield. He made each character come alive and I adore the special effects he uses like the mics, phones, walkies etc.It adds such a special touch. I love the accents on the British characters and how each man has a voice of his own. I could see everything that was happening as he acted out this story.

Story Great. Narration, Not Good.

First off, the audio performance was...not good.I wish there was another way to put it, but all I can come up with was not good. The narrator sounded like the male version of Siri. He was all mechanical/monotonous, but kept raising his tone at the end of every sentence for some unknown reason.

When he did the voices of Dex and Sloane it became more bearable but for the other portions, the monotonous, mechanical voice was still present. This was the first audio book I've ever DNF'd (I did so after the 2nd chapter) and though I felt terrible for doing so, I could only endure for so long. It seriously hindered my enjoyment of the story and I had to start all over again when I got the Kindle version of the book(which was great).

I might give the narrator ( Mark Westfield ) another go, but for this, it’s a big No from me.

Best Ending!

I adored this book series and in particular this book. I laugh and cry with the characters every time. The hotness factor is also way up there! I hope this isn't the last time I ever see these characters but if it is I can let them go and say farewell with a warm heart.

Great wrap up, with room for a new beginning.

I love the THIRDS. There isn't a book I haven't been head over heels for. This was no exception. Long live Destructive Delta, may we see them frequently in the TIN series. There are still questions to be answered and mysteries to solve.

THIRDS series Review

While one should review each individual book, since this is a series I have opted to review the entire series. I enjoyed reading this series so much. All the characters were well developed and showed maturation in each subsequent book. The same can be said for the narrator. I admit the first book I wasn’t sold on the narrator. However, now that I’ve had a chance to listen to the entire series, I can’t imagine anyone other than Mark Westfield bringing these guys (and gals) to life! Mark did a fabulous job with each and every character. I don’t know how he was able to keep from bursting out in laughter many times throughout the series.
The THIRDS is now immortalized in my mind. I can picture each character and they feel like old friends. I will re-visit this series often because I love it so much!
As the THIRDS world continues to expand I sincerely hope Mark will continue to narrate these guys because I just can’t see anyone else as the voice of Dex and Sloane and the rest of the family!

Weddings and Explosions

Awwwwwww we finally get the wedding – THIRDS style! All the action, all the drama, and the big finale while watching Sloane and Dex exchange their vows. This book was just an explosion of all the feelings and excitement, and I adored it. Sloane and Dex are one of my favorite couples ever.

Sorry Mr Westfield...it must just be me

A nice way to finish off the series...I particularly love the way Wolf and Hudson bitch at each other, and their British accents were spot on this time. I do think Mark has a fairly monotonous voice for his storytelling though, and I'm positive that Cael's 'voice' was different this time around but my rating will stay the same [5 stars for the story and series as a whole].

Loved it

I can’t believe I’ve finished the series 😭!!!
What a beautiful way to tie it all up. This will be a series that I constantly reread, Sloane and Dex will be one of my favourite book couples ever!
This series had sooo many twist and turns it’s unreal.
My one advice is ignore the not so good reviews and read it for yourself. I’m so happy I did

A perfect end to an awesome series

Although it breaks my heart to see the end of the thirds series, Charlie rounded things up with a bang!! I cried a lot like I knew I would cus you know it’s the end (or is it lol) of this awesome series. I have loved watching these characters grow and develop and will continue to listen to the series over and over again. Thanks for the awesomeness Charlie x
