Great spooky stories!

Just in time for Halloween! I also appreciated the added music. It made the stories extra creepy. Many of these authors are independent; however, they are excellent writers! I’m a huge fan of Roma and Kevin. The others are also worth following.

Mostly Horror, a touch of Humor

Trick orTreat Thrillers is a collection of short horror stories that are both imaginative and entertaining. Most of the stories are both eerie and creepy. Kevin Candela adds a combination of horror and humor with his Imp novella. Vance Williamson was an outstanding narrator. The only weak point in some of the stories was a dissonant background “music “ that I found distracting.

Trick or Treat!

This is another great collection of scary, creepy tales, just in time for Halloween. Whether you are scared of the dark, an imp-like entity that lives in a swamp, or demons, these stories have something for everyone. You can feel the terror as the characters realize what is happening around them and that their end is near.

At first, I found the background music to be a little distracting, but the longer I listened, the more it seemed to be just perfect for setting the scary mood. The narrator did a great job with his pacing and voice and added a lot to my listening enjoyment.

I know that I can always count on Roma Gray to find just the right stories for a few scares. And, I always find at least one new author to follow.

If you enjoy short horror/paranormal stories, give this collection a go. You won't be disappointed.

I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author/publisher and chose to review it.
