Couldn’t do it

I really wanted to hear this story out and made it through the first two books hoping that the male narrator would improve, change the way he reads female characters … become less excruciating and infuriating to listen to. It didn’t happen and I couldn’t stand the torture beyond chapter 3. It’s a testament to the potential of the story and Cassandra Myles’ excellent reading that I lasted this long.
