Great book, plenty of detail (almost too much), a one stop shop for anything in the ultra running domain. Great resource for future reference.

Comprehensive

Koop has a great voice for narrating his own book! Lots of science backed information for ultra runners (I can’t think of anything he didn’t cover), lots also applicable for marathon runners (me), and it’s punctuated with short interviews with various experts doing endurance research/other coaches so also really interesting as a fan.

Full of good information, even for marathon runners

A must read for ultra running training and long distance training in general. A wealth of knowledge, will be coming back to this multiple times.
