Publisher's Summary

Lucie Redway knows one thing for certain: her best friend will have the most perfect destination wedding. She may not know if she’ll still have her agony aunt column next month, or if her love life will ever be more exciting than a midnight swipe right, but Lucie would rather exhaust herself than let Stacey down on her Big Day. Not even Charlie, the insufferably attractive and hateful best man, can get in her way.

Before the flight touches down in Spain, Lucie is hit with a curveball. Sat next to world-famous psychic Miranda Bloom, she’s told she’ll leave the wedding with the love of her life. Lucie’s not sure she believes in fate, but Miranda seems to know every little detail about her. Is The One really somewhere on the seating chart?

If Miranda is right then that narrows down Lucie’s options (ruling out new bachelor Grandad Bob for obvious reasons) to Drew and Ethan. Drew: the one that got away, the bad boy turned international fashion photographer. Ethan: the dependable childhood best friend, now a Saville Row tailor, who says he has something important to tell her… But there’s no way it’s her worst enemy Charlie, of course. Even if their friction is turning into a confusing kind of chemistry.

As Lucie deals with drunken aunties, finds a missing wedding dress and survives the chaotic hen party, the days are counting down to ‘I do’. Will she recognise The One before time runs out?

Great from the first page

I think Leanne Slade might become my new ‘must read’ author. Told You So was full of heart and wonderfully narrated by Bel.

Another delightful story

Another delightful story by Leeanne Slade. I love the depth of characters that she creates and how she makes me feel equally frustrated by and a cheer leader for Lucie as a character.
A fantastic end to the book too, I love the last chapter; very clever.
I hope Leanne keeps writing and picking fantastic readers; a winning combination!

Another beautiful story from Leeane Slade

What a wonderful listen. Laughter, sadness, touching moments, beautiful characters…this story has it all. Absolutely loved, loved, loved the ending and to top it all off, the whole thing was wonderfully performed by Bel Powley. Can’t wait for Leeanne Slade’s next Audible release.

Surprisingly good!

Very sweet story, tugged on the heart. The narration was excellent! Sad it’s over. Hopefully a new one by this author soon.

I know that I’m being unfair

The Rebound was just so fabulous that I couldn’t stop myself from comparing the two books. I found all of the characters in this woven story much more difficult to like and invest in. There were a couple of parts that made me smile, but they were few and far between. I did appreciate the character growth and the underlying message of self care whilst caring for others, but Told You So was highly predictable, and not just because a medium told us what to expect. I wouldn’t listen to this one again, whereas The Rebound I would happily listen to multiple times.
