Und dann muss er in einer Privatklinik ermitteln, in dem eine Hebamme ermordet worden ist, ohne dass der Täter gefasst werden konnte. Besonders der zweite Fall bereitet ihm Kopfzerbrechen, denn kaum hat er seine Ermittlungen aufgenommen, wird der Chefarzt der Klinik getötet - genau ein Jahr nach der Hebamme.
