beautifully read, the characters made you feel as thought you knew them. love this book

This might be my favourite Jill Mansell book! The story is so lovely and bittersweet and I just love how much time Ellie has to grieve and start again without making Jamie into a villain or rewriting her first marriage into a stop on the road to Zach. It felt realistic, even if its fluffy fiction. Narrator was much better than some of the others I've heard on Jill's books. The Ellie voice annoyed me at first but I think the narrator was trying to make her sound younger and once she went to a normal voice, everything sounded really great.

You could pretty much predict the story, I willed it finish so I could buy another book. Easy listening, average characters.
