Audiobooks are revolutionizing the education system. Find out how you and your child can be a part of that too! The “modern” education system. It hasn't changed much since it started back in 1837. The same rules apply. Whether your child pays attention to the teacher or not, it's up to them. The problem here is, even if the child tries to pay attention, many find it difficult to learn this way. According to The National Academy of Sciences, traditional lecturing increases the failure rates by as much as 55 percent.

A Catchy way for children to learn times tables.
Would you consider the audio edition of Times Tables to be better than the print version?
This doesn't work on paper as the whole point of the book is for children to sing the times tables, or learn them in a different way by hearing them being sung.
What other book might you compare Times Tables to, and why?
similar to other books in the series but nothing like any book I've heard so far.
What does Mark Meadows and Deryn Edwards bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
This has been answered earlier. It's the fact that they're singing the tables and in different musical styles too. It's a different approach that'll work for some children.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
It wouldn't make a good film.
Any additional comments?
I'm not the target audience but I'm glad I listened to this book and I think this approach will work for children who struggle with the more conventional way of being taught.

Boring
I'm not sure what age group this is aimed at but my 10-year-old who struggles with times tables was really unimpressed with this. The introduction was so boring that we skipped through and listened to random bits of the audio in the hope of finding a better bit. At no point did we hear anything that sounded appealing enough to stop and listen properly. There may well have been one part that was interesting or musically appealing but unfortunately we didn't have the patience to wait for it. We won't be using this audiobook.
