The female main character is irritating. Advertised as a woman over 40 in a world of magic. However said woman acts like a irrational teen. I will not finish this series.

was genuinely wanting to hear this book, loved the story line and humour, unfortunately couldn't handle the narrator. character is supposed to be a 40 year old hard ass saasy chick. narrator sounds like constantly upbeat and happy plus talking Loud and enthusiastically through whole character felt wrong
