Horrible charcters

The characters in this are horrendous. I know the whole point of this book is to show how only the worst of humanity will survive. Everything felt predictable. Apart from being horrible people they are also complete idiots. I honestly resented the fact most were still alive and doubt I will be coming back for the next instalment.
