Publisher's Summary

Addictive, dangerous, your guiltiest pleasure yet: the thrilling climax to the trilogy. The very place where their passionate love affair began, The Manor, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives.

She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse, and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally got beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise which lead Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy...but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

Includes a bonus scene from Jesse's perspective. Read by Edita Brychta

The Lord of the Manor

I read the whole series and I have to say that I'm on central Jesse Cloudnine! He is so incredibly frustrating and possessive, and while I'd usually find this a massive turnoff , Jodi writes and positions it such a way you can't help but love this about him.
The story has a lot of ups and downs, but overall its a great with lots of laughs, a few tears, and some sexy times.

Edita is fantastic narrator. Overall, its worth the listen.

The Dysfuntion Gets Resolved A Bit

I LOVED this last book. It was like a whole new world compared to books 1 and 2. Suddenly, there are things actually happening. Not all issues are resolved, that is evident in the first parts of this book, but finally we are moving and progressing forward (with a couple steps backwards here and there). Jesse is finally becoming a little more human and we understand him a little more. He's less exasperating because he's shown more of himself. I think that if books 1 and 2 could have been combined into 1 book, it might have been helpful. I am just glad that I continued to read so I could get here to enjoy Jesse and Ava together. By the way, HOLY CRAP on the things that are revealed in this book. Who knew 1 person could have sooo many secrets?? Some of which I never even saw coming. I think the last book got better as I read as I listened. I gave book one 4 stars, book two 3 stars and book three 5 stars. So, if you are wondering if you should continue after book 1 or even book 2...I say, forge ahead, it is worth it

Edita Brychta was outstanding with the delivery of the story

All 3 books

Would you consider the audio edition of This Man Confessed to be better than the print version?

I love the audible books mainly because it MAKES me listen to every word and not skip bits that I think might be boring or not enhancing the storyline. This way I realise that every word is worth the time to listen. In this book I needed to pay a lot more attention so I am very glad that I listened and not Read this final book in the series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Jesse especially when you come to realise that he has definite reasons for a lot of his actions, not that I always agree with him. He has some very heavy sigh moments with Ava that have little to do with the hot and heavy bedroom scenes and more to do with the all encompassing love that he has for this woman. I really love his office redecorating.

Any additional comments?

Bearing in mind I am talking about all 3 books and not necessarily just this one.I loved and hated all the main characters in this story in equal parts. I was constantly quietly screaming at Jesse and Ava because although they were both well and truly old enough the immaturity in the way they dealt with difficult situations made me want to pull my hair out at times. I couldn't help but think why can't you all be a bit more honest with each other and take a break from the misunderstandings and over reactions for awhile, BUT, with each book the characters grew on me. I nearly didn't buy book 2 because of this but I am so glad I persevered. Although the story was a little slow and repetitive in places early on by book 3 I was well and truly hooked. This is a true love story and I think some of the people that left really negative reviews (esp in the kindle versions) either didn't get or couldn't see the forest for the trees. This is not just about control for controls sake as the story unfolds you get why it had to be like this. It is more a sense of emotional survival for Jesse, and for Ava as she accepts the way things need to be for Jesse to function she comes to love the feeling of safety and cherishing and not be stifled by it. There are compromises all round. I don't get the review referrals to "domestic abuse" I understand emotional abuse but I don't see it here. He may have tried to be all controlling but Ava wasn't having a bar of it. This was by far my favourite book in the series and I loved the extended epilogue. All the various threads of this story were neatly tidied up in the end, some things I just never saw coming, but it didn't feel rushed like other books I've read where there is a lot going on. Overall I give this 4+ stars and I look forward to more from this author. End of.

An intense love story

An intense love story with twists, turns, frustrations and secrets. I love this story (series) and all the characters. Jesse and Ava, two main characters, I just love but the other characters are adorable as well.

Jesse Ward is a self assured man, perhaps you would call him arrogant and privileged with looks that kill. The Lord of 'The Manor' who can have anything or anyone he wants except Ava. A woman who has just gotten out of a bad relationship and living with her best friend Kate. Ava just wants to get her life back on track, get her own place, focusing on her career. However, Ava has just finished an incredible luxury apartment building (Lusso) over looking London and it's her greatest achievement in her career so far . Then Just off the Lusso job, Ava has another job that is awaiting for her attention, 'The Manor' a job that she has been personally requested for.

When she arrives at the 'The Manor' she is questioning the reasoning for her assistant at this magnificent place. Then she meets the Lord of The Manor, Jesse Ward...the perfect man. Very tall, broad chest, squared jaw, dirty-blond hair, eyes are sludgy green, but bright and way too intense, just devastating good looking. Ava's senses are lost and she knows just then she's in trouble if she take the job.

By the second meeting of Jesse and Ava, you will be enjoying intense sex scenes and frustrations that makes you continue to read to the end of the book and want more...a lot more. When I got to the end of this book I couldn't wait to get the next book started. I do recommend this book and this series. You need to read the entire series so can understand why Jesse is the way he is with Ava.

Jodi Ellen Malpas has fast become one of my favourite authors, her ability to pull you into the story with her words and creativity to explore the physical attraction with an impact, your heart will ache for more. If you don't like reading a lot of sex scenes then this isn't the series for you. This is the only thing I can say that is negative about this story (series) but you can easily get pass it and continue to fall in love with this story.

This Man.... On Jesse Cloud Nine

I loved this book!!! It was twist turning and addictive ... yes Jesse is a control freak and would be hung drawn and quartered if this was real life!!!! But this is what made the story!!!! Understanding why!!!

Can't wait for other characters stories!!!
