What a great story! In the vein of 'The Woman In Black' and "Turn of the Screw". Evocatively read and will definitely go in search of more like this.

Predictable but still enjoyable (there was only one little twist I didn't see coming; the rest of the book followed a pretty standard horror story template). Harrie Hayes did a wonderful job.

I really enjoyed this. I had no idea what to expect but I loved all of it. The main characters were relatable and fascinating and please let there be a sequel!

The reader does well to portray what I’m afraid is a ‘Downton Abbey’ ghost story!
I am a John Boyne fan - this one I only just managed to finish on x2 !
