About this listen
Thinking outside the box resulted in the best night of my life. Until I discover the man I spent it with is my new boss.
Attending a secret party where clothes are optional wasn’t a life goal of mine. But when the exclusive invitation ends up in my mailbox by accident...well. Who wouldn't be curious? It's not like I'm going to do anything. The handsome stranger I meet has different plans. One glance across the crowded party and an hour later we're stretched out on silk. Our night together is glorious. No names and no regrets. But I’d forgotten there’s always a price to pay for pleasure. I find out the cost when I start my internship. Tristan Conway, a.k.a. my handsome stranger. Powerful, determined, intriguing...and single. Oh, and he wants to see me in his office.

A story for contemporary values.

The story was let down by the narration. A breathy, squeaky female lead and a male lead that read like it was his turn in class to read a section of the book. I almost stopped listening after the first chapter but persevered because I enjoyed the storyline.

(the male reads significantly faster). He also has a very annoying squeaky ‘s’ which really took my focus away from the story. In terms of the story, I wish the beginning scenes at the club went for longer - that was the best part and way too brief. More visits to the club would have been better than the go nowhere plot lines like her fear of heights and the mole at the company. Neither plot line added anything to the overall story. All in all, it was okay with some good parts and some not so good parts.
Just okay
