Excellent book
This is a true story about courage, determination, and amazing accomplishments of few young people who risked everything to save other people. The book is read well and kept me in suspense from the first chapter to the last. I listened to it while driving from Tampa to Miami. It made the trip so much easier. it taught me a chapter of Jewish history I didn't know. This was the first time that I heard about Jews who escaped Europe, join the U.S. army, infiltrated Nazi Germany during WWII as American spies, and lived to tell about it. An inspiring book.

Entertaining and colourful stories
This was moderately enjoyable to me only, but perhaps it is a matter of taste. When I read that the author is a 'combat historian', that may be the tip-off. It seemed to go at quite a clip (partly the narrator) and not really give you a real feeling of place or setting or even danger. However, some of the stories are quite funny and the book suggests that to be a successful spy, you have to be a 'hustler', so you can be sure their exploits would amuse.
