Good storyline
The narrator sounds like Tarryn Brumfitt which kinda ruined it a little for me. As I found it really distracting having recently listened to the book Embrace. The parts about the neighbours Ian and Julie had me cracking up laughing. Overall I liked the story and the narration was good.

Too simple a narrative for my taste I guess
I found the story very light and in parts patronising. It's limited and often stereotypical in the arc and resolution. A very simple narrative. I actually found it hard to finish because I was bored and it was a laborious task to get to the end. I think it would be suitable as a plane book or by the pool so if that's what you're looking for this is the one for you. just not my taste.

A slow burner for me
I had to go back to this audio book 2/3 times ... I don’t think it really needed all 3 characters and For me it felt like it took a long time to come together . I probably would have preferred it to have just stuck to either ginger or Cali’s story and expanded upon them as they were strong characters . I did finish it in the end and it did get better as it went on, this is just my personal opinion and I do not want to put anyone off trying this book as some of the reviewers are raving about it. I did however particularly enjoy the narration.
