Publisher's Summary

Two season tickets. One genius idea. Zero interest in a relationship.

The plan is simple: a brand-new, hot, preferably funny, definitely single male will fill one of those seats for every Bears game at Soldier Field. And I'll fill the other.

I can't think of a better way to use the season passes I'd bought for my ex-husband. I am a woman of plans, and this one's foolproof. Until Zach Bowen offers to be my practice round.

He's infuriating. Presumptuous and overbearing. And absolutely, undeniably gorgeous. Any woman with a heartbeat would be attracted to him, and mine picks up speed every time he speaks. But as I said, I'm a woman of plans - and I'm not backing down on this one.

One night. One game. And then, his time's up. He can try to change the rules, but here's the truth: He can't win if he's playing the wrong game.

Contains mature themes.

Beautiful and Passionate Listen - Loved it!

I absolutely loved this story. Kandi Steiner has done it again with a beautiful story of Second Chances and self discovery. This story stole my heart and had me rooting for a happily ever after. I listened to this on audiobook and Nelson Hobbs was fantastic in his portrayal of Zach, she couldn’t have picked a better person to play this part. And Virginia Rose was the perfect compliment. A must listen!!!

Touchdown!

I loved this angsty yet steamy storyline. Add in football and I’m hooked. Zach and Gemma have chemistry galore! As well as baggage from the past. This one has all the FEELS and great narration. Absolutely worth the listen!

Loved this book, very sweet!

I loved the story, I thought it was very sweet and I laughed at the characters sense of humors. The only reason I gave the performance 3 stars is because the female character Jemma was only 29/30 but the voiceover sounded like she was about 55 years old. No offense against her, she did beautifully, but just not the right person for this character.

Fantasic narration

I really enjoyed this book. Coming off of a cheating (and now deceased) husband, Gemma has sworn not to give her heart to anyone ever again. But that doesn't mean she can't play the field. So with a grand plan of only giving a guy one night she sets herself up on a dating app. But even the best laid plans can run into a snag...enter Zach Bowen. At first Zach seems like a great choice for a practice date but he's not willing to let Gemma go after only one date. And he is determined to make sure that he gets all of her one night stands.

4.5 Stars

I loved this story and I love it even more after learning more around the writing time for the author. This had everything I love in a romance and I did not want to put it down. From the very beginning, I was hooked. I love how Gemma and Zach meet, and the banter between the two. The addition of Gemma’s best friend also brought some fun to the story. I really want a book two following Bell! I really loved how emotional Zach becomes towards the end, and how this shows that men can also show emotions without it meaning they are weak. This is really rare to read about and it was refreshing. I liked seeing how a breakup can effect a male and not just the females perspective. Overall, I really enjoyed this one and I will be ordering this in paperback to add to my collection.

A Great Game

I love the wrong game. zack and Gemma are quite a pair. when everything has gone wrong for all her plans Gemma's best friend talks her into some crazy ideas. zack being the ever helpful bartender tries to help her ideas happen, but what happens when things dont go as planned again? such a good story and the narrative work was great as well. as my first audio experience I enjoyed it very much so!

Fell short compared to her other works

I love Kandi Steiner and have read and loved several of her books. This one however fell short for me. I found it was very predictable and cliche. Just another run of the mill second chance romance. If this is your first Kandi Steiner book, don’t let this one set the tone for you for her as a writer. A Love Letter to Whiskey, What He Never/Always Knew, Weightless, On the Way to You, On the Rocks, Revelry. All these I’ve read and loved. She’s still a favorite of mine, just not with this particular book.
