Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

Story
What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives - and President Donald Trump in particular - are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor." But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America - but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party.

Publisher's Summary
As Barack Obama's presidential failures keep adding up, remembering them all can be a challenge. Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan have compiled everything you need to know about the presidency of Barack Obama (so far) into one book. Now you can easily find all the information that was ignored by the media and that Barack Obama would like you to forget. Did Barack Obama really save this country from another Great Depression? Did he really improve our country's image around the world, or unite America? What about the new era of post-partisanship and government transparency? Did he really expand health coverage while lowering costs and cutting taxes? The Worst President in History: The Legacy of Barack Obama compiles 200 inconvenient truths about Obama's presidency - the facts that will shape his legacy: his real record on the economy; the disaster that is Obamacare; his shocking abuses of taxpayer dollars; his bitterly divisive style of governing; his shameless usurping of the Constitution; his scandals and cover-ups; his policy failures at home and abroad; the unprecedented expansion of government power...and more.

high expectations but disappointed...
I was a bit disappointed in this book after some high expectations from it's title. There are 200 points that the author argues are serious inadequacies of a poorly executed presidency by Obama, allegedly the worst in history. However, going on reading/listening to the content of the book, I'd have to disagree with the title. Whether Obama's time was the worst is hard to say given there's inadequate inquiry into other presidencies to make the comparison. However I would agree with his conclusion that Obama was the worst in terms of foreign policy and dealing with radical Islam. He had no strategy, was indecisive and basically had no balls. He failed to protect Americans and the free world, appeased Islamic extremists (Islam is NOT a religion of peace), deserted Israel, deserted persecuted Christians, propped up extremist governments and gave billions (via executive orders) to extremist governments that hate the US...Go figure...Obama was without a doubt the worst President ever in this regard. As for the other inadequacies listed (apart from certain key points about Obamacare) most of it unfortunately was nit picking. The book should be more accurately title. I would have given it 3.5 if there was that possibility.

Partisan Right Wing Hatred and Propaganda
I'm a registered Independent who was disappointed in Obama's presidency. I was hoping to get more intelligent insight on his administration through this book. However, I quickly found out that this book is nothing but Pure Partisan Hatred taken straight from the talking points of Rush or Michael Savage. This book starts out by praising George W., who was truly one of the worst presidents of all time. That tells you all you need to know about these authors. I don't think Margolis or Noonan are capable of saying one critical thing about any conservative, let alone hold them to the same accountability as they hold Obama. Just because you disagree with someone's policy positions does not make them an evil person. Obama has no many flaws, but this book is not palatable, because it's clearly not objective at all. Do not waste your money on this wing-nut drivel.

Information that needs mass dissemination...i
Much information here that needs sharing.. However People tend to believe what they want to believe, whatever fits their pre-conceived narrative. Much of the content is so unnerving that credibility could be questioned. But upon research of the material, it was scary how much proved to be true. This is the same material many of us have already been exposed to but we needed a practiced writer to put it into some kind of order.... Well written and concise....

Very interesting book, very revealing.
This book was really great because it gives you many of the failings of the last president in a concise and easy to understand manner while also doing it in a methodical manner.
The book is clearly partisan in nature, but that is expected given the title, some of the critiques are perhaps not entirely fair because you can't pin every failing that occurs in a massive nation on just one person.
What it does do is list the many failings of the Obama presidency in a clear light. As a person who was broaldly supportive of Obama during his presidency it gives some good texture to the hindsight that his leadership should be held in.
