Publisher's Summary

As Barack Obama's presidential failures keep adding up, remembering them all can be a challenge. Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan have compiled everything you need to know about the presidency of Barack Obama (so far) into one book. Now you can easily find all the information that was ignored by the media and that Barack Obama would like you to forget. Did Barack Obama really save this country from another Great Depression? Did he really improve our country's image around the world, or unite America? What about the new era of post-partisanship and government transparency? Did he really expand health coverage while lowering costs and cutting taxes? The Worst President in History: The Legacy of Barack Obama compiles 200 inconvenient truths about Obama's presidency - the facts that will shape his legacy: his real record on the economy; the disaster that is Obamacare; his shocking abuses of taxpayer dollars; his bitterly divisive style of governing; his shameless usurping of the Constitution; his scandals and cover-ups; his policy failures at home and abroad; the unprecedented expansion of government power...and more.

"If you want to know why the history books will have a dim view of Barack Obama, this is the book to read." (John Hawkins, Right Wing News)

high expectations but disappointed...

I was a bit disappointed in this book after some high expectations from it's title. There are 200 points that the author argues are serious inadequacies of a poorly executed presidency by Obama, allegedly the worst in history. However, going on reading/listening to the content of the book, I'd have to disagree with the title. Whether Obama's time was the worst is hard to say given there's inadequate inquiry into other presidencies to make the comparison. However I would agree with his conclusion that Obama was the worst in terms of foreign policy and dealing with radical Islam. He had no strategy, was indecisive and basically had no balls. He failed to protect Americans and the free world, appeased Islamic extremists (Islam is NOT a religion of peace), deserted Israel, deserted persecuted Christians, propped up extremist governments and gave billions (via executive orders) to extremist governments that hate the US...Go figure...Obama was without a doubt the worst President ever in this regard. As for the other inadequacies listed (apart from certain key points about Obamacare) most of it unfortunately was nit picking. The book should be more accurately title. I would have given it 3.5 if there was that possibility.

Uninspired Narration Killed It For Me

The content was interesting, but the boring narration and mispronunciations often caused me to zone out.

nothing new

I am surprised at most of what I am hearing, but I did not find any great revelations out of this.

just hatred

Was too tough to continue. Just pure hatred. The book was written before the end of his presidency, so looking back at his predictions about voter fraud and immigration was just wrong.

The worst book in history

I did not vote for Obama. This book is so shallow and petty. Don't waste your time

Fin facts to know and tell.

All of the facts were really interesting, but I struggled with the narrator. I think they needed a more masculine voice for a book low this.

INFURIATING!

I really enjoyed the way this book is written and performed. It goes right to the reasons why Obama is the worst President in history. Not a lot of fluff, just solid info.

I plan on buying the written version as well.

Unfortunate title!

This book was first published on July 2, 1916, almost 9 months before the publication of the audio book and 6.5 months before his elecrted termin office.

The title is "Worst President in History", but that is not the point of the book. The authors level 200 separate charges of inappropriate actions (including failures to act) that were negative to the US or the citizens of the country or to our allies. The fact is the Obama presidency was worse, more corrupt, and more against the interest of our country and its citizens than I could possibly imagined when he first took office on January 20, 2009. He made race relations much, much worse. He virtually destroyed the Democrat party at all levels of the executive and legislative branches of federal and state governments. He defined negotiation as him getting everything he wanted and those who disagreed caving completely. As he promised early in his second term he had a "phone and a pen" and would act in any area that he believed Congress should act if they failed to give him what he wanted. He redefined laws by presidential fiat. His appointments, especially judicial at all three levels, were consistently of partisan hacks who hate the US Constitution, as he does. He very selectively enforced laws. Obama negotiated two treaties (Paris climate treaty and Iran treaty) and enforced them without the required Senate approval. He made friends of dictators who are the enemies of the US as he treated our true friends with disdain. He interfered in a major Israeli election by sending his team to help Netanyahu's political opponents. He told the British public that if they passed Brexit Great Britain would "go to the back of the line" in trade considerations with the US. He weaponized the Justice Department, the IRS, and the EPA to use against those citizens who opposed him in any way.

I expected based on the book title to hear comparisons of Obama to other US presidents arriving at the conclusion that he is worst. Instead this book is an excellent 200 count indictment of President Obama and the damage he apparently set out each day to cause.

slightly biased but a good review of failure

Certainly there were some failures attributed to Obama that were not his making, but overall a good summary of a failed presidency and U.S. direction during 8 years.

Created President Trump

Would you listen to The Worst President in History again? Why?

Yes and likely will. There's so many Obama embarrassments and failures, a re-listen is almost necessary.

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A

What about Mike Chamberlain’s performance did you like?

Very easy to listen to and understand.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I practically got whiplash from all of the head shaking throughout the entire book. Some of the most headshaking moments: Obama insulting England who has shed blood for our country, threatening Russia then being embarrassed when Russia called his bluff, and the apology tour.

Any additional comments?

While it is easy to blame Hillary for President Trump, the truth is eight years of being an Obamanation is why Trump was elected. This book explains the debacle that was Obama's regime which caused the U.S.to become sick of politicians.

Great Book...Must Read!!!

What did you love best about The Worst President in History?

This book reveals Obama's incompetent, impotent, and sinister policy decisions and lack of leadership that have helped to set this country on the course to moral, financial and spiritual ruin. The mainstream media covered up or glossed over much of what is revealed in this book. Obama indeed was the worst president in history, and if it wasn't for the mercy of God, we would have had the sequel to his worst presidency with a Hillary Clinton presidency!

Very interesting book, very revealing.

This book was really great because it gives you many of the failings of the last president in a concise and easy to understand manner while also doing it in a methodical manner.

The book is clearly partisan in nature, but that is expected given the title, some of the critiques are perhaps not entirely fair because you can't pin every failing that occurs in a massive nation on just one person.

What it does do is list the many failings of the Obama presidency in a clear light. As a person who was broaldly supportive of Obama during his presidency it gives some good texture to the hindsight that his leadership should be held in.
