J D Kirk never disappoints. Great story with amazing characters. Lots of things to discover here. The writing is outstanding and the prose is beautiful. The different POV’s, really sucked you in with such great writing style. Definitely recommend this one.

A big fan of JD Kirk's work, this takes a different approach to the other novels I have read. I loved the storyline and was hooked on the plot twists I didn't entirely see coming.

I felt empathy for both female characters. The tension build up was exquisitely done, and the denoument credible.

Once I got used to the author's technique of frequently swapping from one to the other of the two main characters I was immersed.
Perhaps a narrator who can more clearly differentiate between voices would make it easier listening?
Overall a good listen.
