Connolly's writing is a cut above the rest, and the presence of the supernatural on the margins of the story gives it a tense, oppressive edge.
Contains Connolly's usual brilliance with plot, dialogue, setting, humour and writing that is at times poetic

As always, great story, terrific characters and that little bit of difference that takes it to the top level. Really enjoy the reading, now to the next book

Brilliantly written and told

Once again the narrator, Jeff Harding brings the characters and story to life. A little less if the writers left leaning bias also helps. A couple of times in previous books, I almost gave up on the story due to the writer’s obvious hatred of conservatives but this book was less painful. Overall I enjoyed the story and will buy some credits to listen to the next in the series.
