Basic stories with excellent narrators, which probably have this a higher rating than necessary. Seeing as they were free listens I had no problem with them and will probably continue with the series because the side characters are likeable too.

Enjoyable books, with a great continuing storyline. The FMC in both books had an annoying trait of allowing themselves to be treated like shite by toxic people, as did the Wilder brothers with their toxic neighbouring competitors. That element led to some easily predictable dramas, but otherwise the storyline’s were fine.
Well narrated, and I enjoyed the first two books enough that I’ll keep listening to the next ones.

So cheesy and got bored toward the end of the book. Narrators were good, story line basic and the use of the word see you next Tuesday was horrid!
