About this listen
Exclusive to Audible! Listen to a discussion between the author and the narrator of The Widow at the end of this recording.
We've all seen him: the man - the monster - staring from the front page of every newspaper, accused of a terrible crime.
But what about her: the woman who grips his arm on the courtroom stairs - the wife who stands by him?
Jean Taylor's life was blissfully ordinary. Nice house, nice husband. Glen was all she'd ever wanted: her Prince Charming.
Until he became that man accused, that monster on the front page. Jean was married to a man everyone thought capable of unimaginable evil.
But now Glen is dead, and she's alone for the first time, free to tell her story on her own terms.

Could have listened to it not stop if I didn't have to sleep!
The ending was a bit abrupt but I'm hoping that's because it's open for a sequel.
Narrator did a superb job! Really owned all the characters!
Helped by how well written it was.
Very much enjoyed! Thank you and look forward to more!
Kept me hooked!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This got me in from the first few words. The story is intriguing and written so that it keeps you guessing. Thoroughly enjoyed and couldn't turn if off until I knew what had happened. What was one of the most memorable moments of The Widow?
Not sure of memorable moments, the story was so intertwined that it flowed and each new piece of information held your attention.Have you listened to any of Clare Corbett’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No I haven't heard her before, but I thought she was excellent. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely. I rarely wear earphones whilst walking into work, but for this one I didn't want to turn it off until I actually had to.Hooked immediately
