This book is dark and decadently delicious, it makes me shiver with delight. The world and character building is brilliant as the twist and betrayals, murders. Poor Jude she is too busy controlling everything that she forgot she is only mortal which has weakness and that King Cardan took advantage off. I hate cliff Hangers but it will be worth it to wait for Jude's revenge. Caitlyn can't do no wrong she is fantastic.

This book is by far my favourite, it has been written so well and with some crazy twists. The reader is very good she makes listening to the audio book so easy.

This is the 2nd part , to the trilogy not as good as the first but then again not by much , this is the needed part, where Jude and Cardan’s love story not love story is forming and intertwining, this trilogy is fantastic for all those who love fae and or are looking to get into this genre.

I loved this book, and I love the Folk of the Air series. Holly Black is an exquisite story teller. This book is an action packed "page-turner", written with vivid imagery and intrigue. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I struggled with the first book in the series but this second one has reignited my interest. I finished this audiobook in one sitting because I was enjoying it too much to stop. Can’t wait to read the next book
