THE FIRST BOOK IN THE THE COUSINS' WAR SERIES FROM INTERNATIONALLY BESTSELLING AUTHOR PHILIPPA GREGORY

One woman at the centre of England's most enduring royal mystery.

Elizabeth Woodville was an ordinary woman before her marriage to King Edward IV elevated her to the throne of England. Determined to secure the future of her family, she fought fiercely for her children and her place at court. But when her two young sons became the centre of one of history's greatest unsolved mysteries, her legacy was transformed forever.

Set amid the turmoil of the Wars of the Roses, The White Queen tells the story of Elizabeth's extraordinary rise to power and the mystery of the Princes in the Tower in a captivating family drama.

Great audio but If your listening and reading the book at the same time the audio has cut a lot from the actual book.

It is a good story and the narrator sounds amazing. However going between the physical and audiobook was a very difficult and frustrating experience as the audiobook left out a ridiculous amount of the actual novel. Not just little words changed here and there, but it was big chunks of chapters and descriptions in which left me struggling to find my place time and time again. A waste of my credit

Does not match the physical book

It was a great story to listen to and wonderfully narrated. It made me want to research more about this time. Absolutely loved it!

EASY TO FOLLOW STORYLINE

I had to keep referring to Wiki to keep track of who was who. Too many Henry’s, Richards, George’s and Elizabeth’s. True to history but what a murderous treacherous bunch they were. I don’t think I could read another book in the series - too tragic. Emilia Fox’s narration was amazing though.

Lost track of who’s who
