About this listen

WHO JUDGES A JUDGE?

A corrupt judge is getting away with murder.

Lacy Stoltz investigates judicial misconduct in Florida. When she meets Greg Meyers, an indicted lawyer, he tells her a secret that will put her in the firing line.

Myers has dirt on a judge in league with organised crime who had forced through legislation to build a casino on a Native American reservation. Anyone who opposed the crooked scheme is dead. Now, Myers wants Lacy to make the judge's crimes public.

But if she does, Lacy will be gambling with her life...

This was a very well written tale that had great characters, many twists and turns and did leave any loose ends. Loved it

Absolutely amazing

Enjoyed this book but it lacked momentum and the storyline felt like it took forever to get started!

A bit slow to get started

the whistler was ok, reasonable predicable sorry line, but very well read. Another good book for Sunday afternoon

decent book

An exciting plot and consistent story line. Very believable characters that hold the listeners attention from A to Z. The research done to give credence to the plot is extraordinary to say the least. Well balanced too considering the number of directions the storyline takes. Absolutely superb

Gripping

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

A little slow in the beginning but picked up pace and turned out to be a great read.

I think the story was just missing something. It went into such detail on information that was irrelevant. I kept thinking it was because there was a twist coming. But nothing, just drawn out. However it could have been the narrator- good grief and she was dull. It’s quite possible this would be “gripping” as some reviews have indicated if I had read it rather than listened.

Predictable and a bit boring

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

A rather convoluted story., confusing at times and less gripping than his earlier and later books

Not one of Grisham's best

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

Tantalising, captivating legal crime story, hard to put down with many twists and turns. A great John Grisham legal crime

Captivating novel

Like: The North American Aboriginal is cared for in the end. We can't change the past but we can look at bright future and put a stop to those that take advantage of the ones that does not have a voice.

Dislike:

The facts fell in place and made it easy to follow.
