I will admit Viking based books have not been something I have ever been drawn to and now I ask myself "Why the hell not!?"
Brenna is the main character every woman should want to be. She isn't waiting around, like a damsel in distress. She is forward thinking, a born leader and one strong woman. Brenna has been dealt some hard cards in her life but didn't let that stop her from doing what she had to.
I loved the way Nellestein brought to life a world that is long lost. She kept the passion without making it repetitive or predictable. She created characters with heart and warmth and passion.
