The impoverished playwright has a dream to see her plays performed on stage, but in Elizabethan England, not only are women considered the inferior sex, they simply do not write plays. Another great one!
Love the characters, but my goodness I can’t wait for India to meet her. The only negative thing about this series is the long wait for the next one! Haha. I guess my other gripe is that it seemed a bit short. Would love a longer next one. Marian Hussey is amazing as always and I really love how the plot is evolving. Eagerly waiting the next one next year.

Are you kidding me!
Another great book. I listened to the whole thing in one sitting. The story was interesting and the narrator did another fabulous job but are you seriously telling me that I’ve got to wait until March next year to find out if gabe and Silvia get together?? You could cut the sexual tension with a knife. It’s going to be a long 5 months.

Slow progress
We’ve reached a milestone and the series is moving on - but SO slowly! Written series should never be more than three books, in my opinion. I have taken a decision to avoid series altogether, as they are rather like Easter eggs - just a cobbling together of repetitive ingredients that are more to make money than to satisfy.

If you liked the others, you'll like this, it won't change your world but it is entertaining, don't over think it.
if you haven't listened to the others in this series I'd probably start with book one but you do you.
