this is beautiful. i’m going through chemo and my arms ACHED and i loved just sitting here listening excited and nervous to see what pickle Samantha was going to get herself out of that day. Thankyou so much for this!!!

I really enjoyed reading and listening to this book. At face value it looks like a romcom but it has a lot of depth to it. Career, parental and life expectations, burnout, sexism, assumptions about people based on their jobs, domestic duties, city versus small town life, the value of money versus life balance, and trust are all touched on, with lots of humour thrown in for good measure.

Fun book with a lot of important themes.
