Tolkien is a genius and Andy one of the greatest voice actors. This book is certainly slower than the first but I still can't fault the performance & overall enjoyment of this audiobook

Andy Serkis does a excellent job at bringing these characters to life. His gollum somehow sounded better in these books then they did in the movies. My only complaint would be theoden and Gandalf sound a little too similar. And of course the book is great JRR Tolkien is one of the best writers of all time

Just fantastic- ANdy Serkis truly brings Tolkien's words to life and amazing to hear him voice Gollum. Well worth a listen.
